Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 27, 2026
Evenward is a personal AI productivity platform built for professionals managing high cognitive loads. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. We have written it in plain English because you deserve to understand it without a law degree.
Evenward is operated by Benjamin Williams, an independent developer based in Kansas City, Missouri. You can reach us at privacy@evenward.com with any questions about this policy.
1. What we collect
Information you provide directly
- Your name, email address, and account credentials when you sign up
- Professional information you enter during onboarding, including your job roles, workplace context, and professional background
- Personal preferences you choose to share, such as communication style, weekly rhythms, and personal background
- Everything you write in conversations with Cara, your AI assistant
- Notes, tasks, and documents you create or upload inside Evenward
Information from connected services
- Google Drive: If you connect Google Drive, we access only the folders and files you explicitly authorize. We read file names and contents to help Cara assist you with your work. We do not access any files outside the folders you select.
- Google Calendar: If you connect Google Calendar, we read your upcoming events to help Cara understand your schedule. We do not create, modify, or delete calendar events unless you explicitly ask Cara to do so.
- Gmail: If you connect Gmail, we read message metadata (sender, subject, date) and message content only as needed to help Cara respond to specific requests you make. We do not read your email passively or in the background.
Information collected automatically
- Basic usage data about which features you use and when, to help us understand what is working and what needs improvement
- Error logs when something goes wrong, so we can identify and fix problems
- Token usage counts for billing purposes
2. How we use your information
- To operate Evenward and provide you with a functioning AI assistant
- To personalize Cara's responses based on your professional context and preferences
- To build and maintain Cara's memory of your working patterns over time
- To process payments via Stripe
- To send you transactional emails, including account confirmations, subscription notices, and important updates
- To identify and fix bugs and technical problems
- To improve the platform based on how it is being used
We do not use your data to train AI models. We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with third parties except as described in Section 3.
3. Third-party services we use
Evenward is built on top of several trusted third-party services. When you use Evenward, your data passes through these services as part of normal operation:
Google Gemini (AI provider)
Cara's responses are generated by Google Gemini. Your conversation content is sent to Google's API to generate responses. Google's API terms prohibit using API data to train their models. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Anthropic Claude (AI provider, premium accounts)
Some Evenward accounts use Anthropic's Claude model for AI responses. Anthropic's API terms prohibit using API data to train their models. See Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
Supabase (database and authentication)
Your account data, conversations, and all information stored in Evenward lives in a Supabase database. Supabase is SOC 2 Type II certified. See Supabase's privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.
Stripe (payments)
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Evenward never sees or stores your credit card number. That information goes directly to Stripe. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
Resend (email delivery)
Transactional emails from Evenward are delivered via Resend. Your email address is shared with Resend only for the purpose of delivering messages you would expect to receive. See Resend's privacy policy at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Vercel (hosting)

4. Data retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If your subscription lapses or you cancel, your data is preserved for 30 days in case you return. After 30 days without an active subscription, your data is permanently deleted.
You can download and review your own data at any time from your account Settings. To delete your account and all associated data, cancel your subscription from Settings. Your data will be permanently deleted 30 days after cancellation. Contact us at privacy@evenward.com with any questions about your data.

Your database records are protected by row-level security, which means the database itself enforces that your data can only be accessed by your account, even in the event of an application bug. We do not store your Google credentials. Authentication tokens are managed by Google's OAuth system and stored securely in your account record.
